Privacy policy
What information EasyQLab collects, why, who can see it and how long we keep it. In short: your files are used to check your files.
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Scope
This policy covers the website easyqlab.com, including its documentation and the Request a demo form, and the EasyQLab application at app.easyqlab.com (the "Service"). It applies together with our Terms of use.
When an organization uses the Service, the files it uploads are its own, and it decides what to upload. We process them on its behalf, to provide the Service.
2. What we collect
Your account
The email address and the sign-in details you use to create your account, and the organization the account belongs to.
Your projects
The files and texts you upload (the original and its translations), so that we can analyze them, and what the analysis produces: findings, verdicts, reports. We also keep what you add in the Service, such as your decisions on findings ("Real error", "Not an error"), comments, review profiles, client lists and other settings.
A Quick analysis, run without a project, doesn't keep the files.
Usage
How much you use the Service, such as the characters processed and the number of projects, and the billing records that come from it.
The Request a demo form
Your name, work email and company, and anything else you choose to write in the form (languages per project, message), plus the page you sent it from. To limit spam we keep a one-way code derived from your IP address, not the address itself.
Technical data
Like any website, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical information about requests, such as the time, the page requested and errors, to operate and protect the Service.
3. How we use it
- To provide the Service: analyze your files, show the results, produce the reports and keep your projects so you can reopen them.
- To adjust the analysis to your decisions: when you mark findings as "Real error" or "Not an error", the confidence of that kind of finding changes for your organization's next projects.
- To record usage and bill according to the plan agreed with you.
- To give you support when you ask for it, and to keep the Service secure and working.
- To answer your demo request and follow up on it.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use your documents in our marketing.
4. Who can see it
- Your organization. Every project, file and setting is tied to your organization. The people in your organization can see its projects and files; people in other organizations can't.
- The EasyQLab team, when needed to give support and to operate the Service. Demo requests are seen only by the EasyQLab team.
- Our service providers, as described in the next section.
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the Service. They process information on our behalf and only to provide the Service:
- Cloud hosting and database providers run the website and the application and store accounts, projects, files and results.
- AI model providers process text and page images to produce the analysis: reading the pages, reviewing the translation, pairing paragraphs and answering questions about a project. These requests are sent from our servers, never from your browser.
- A web font service delivers the typefaces of this website.
Some of these providers may process information in countries other than yours.
6. How long we keep it
- Project files and results stay until you delete the project. Deleting a project deletes its files.
- Temporary copies made while uploading large files are removed automatically.
- Usage and billing records are kept, also after a project is deleted, because they are the record of what was billed.
- Account information is kept while the account exists.
- Demo requests are kept so that we can follow up. You can ask us to delete yours.
7. Cookies and local storage
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. The website and the application only store preferences in your browser's local storage: the interface language, the light or dark theme, and your session, so that you stay signed in. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings; the theme and language go back to their defaults and you'll need to sign in again.
8. Security
Each organization's data is kept apart from other organizations' data, and access is checked on every request. The keys used to reach our providers stay on our servers and are never sent to the browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to fix problems quickly.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Write to us at the contact below and we'll answer your request. You can delete your projects, and their files, yourself in the Service at any time.
If your organization uploaded documents that contain information about you, we process them on its behalf, and we may refer your request to it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in the Service before it takes effect.
11. Contact
